Recruitment week Spring 2019

This past week we hosted our Spring recruitment. Recruitment is a great time for potential new members to get to learn more about our Delta Nu chapter and meet the brothers. Alpha Kappa Psi hosted the annual President’s Academy on January 4-6 in Denver Colorado. This event is held for all chapter presidents around the nation to meet up and learn how to run the chapter, ways to approach tough situations, and learn how to revolutionize the chapter into being the best it can be. Our president, sophomore, Matt Best reflected on his experience for us…

“Over winter break I had the opportunity to attend the annual President’s Academy in Denver, Colorado. This was an amazing chance for me to get to network with other Presidents from across the globe. This allowed me to gain an invaluable insight on how to further our chapter during my time as President through changes like gaining corporate sponsorships and adopting a mentorship program. The program provided me with many tools that I am excited to put to work!”

Brothers Participate in the 55th Annual Christmas on Campus

At the University of Dayton Christmas time is a special time of year. Not only is it time for finals, and time at home with family, the University makes this time of year special for everyone in the city of Dayton.

Christmas on Campus is an annual event where the university is shut down for a whole evening of holiday cheer. University students are paired up with young children to have a night of gift giving fun!

The Delta Nu Chapter had a booth where children could come and play cornhole for candy, and ring toss with Rudolph.

If our brothers were not working the table, they were out and about playing with their assigned child where they got their faces painted, or had a heart to heart with Santa Claus!
